Abstract

This article explores the importance of maintaining balance between work and personal life for mental health and social stability. In Islam, balance and moderation are key principles that guide every aspect of human life. The Quran and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encourage people to live moderately avoiding both extremes of overwork and negligence and to give due time to worship, family, rest and social responsibilities. The Prophet (PBUH) himself demonstrated this through his balance routine, dividing his time between prayer, family and community service. The study explains that when individuals maintain a healthy balance between their professional duties and personal lives, they experience better metal health, emotional peace and productivity. This harmony also strengthens families and communities, promoting overall social stability. In today’s fast-paced world, where stress, anxiety and work pressure are increasing, Islam’s message of moderation provides a timeless solution for living a calm, meaningful and well organized life. A balanced lifestyle helps individuals achieve inner satisfaction and contributes to a peaceful and stable society. Keywords: Balance in Work and Life, Mental Health, Social Stability, Islamic Moderation.
